Happy Friday! Today is my Birthday! 

Over the weekend I was in NYC with my girlfriends for a fun weekend away. We had such a great time. All we did was laugh, walk around exploring NYC and drink prosecco. It was the first time is probably 3 years that I was travelling and unconcerned with taking photos and shooting content which felt extremely liberating and amazing!

We did have a chance to chat about my life as a social media influencer and how much what we see on Instagram impacts us all (myself included). I've always said, one of the ways I know if I'm doing my job is if my friends take and find inspiration in the things I post about because they're such stylish ladies and the epitome of the demographic I want to reach. They love when I share outfits and tips on how to put looks together so this one is for them!

Here's 3 style notes that went into pairing these pieces together:

• Fur can look extremely fancy, so I like to dress it down with jeans, t-shirt and sneaks to keep it modern and effortless. 
• When wearing sneakers it's really important to wear a cropped ankle jean that shows your ankle so there's a separation + skin.
• I always wear high-waist jeans because they make my legs look longer and accentuate my shape and I always pair with something fitted like a crew neck t-shirt or turtle neck (always tucked in).

I'm already missing our trip and can't wait for the next one. xx
