Happy Monday beauties! Weekends are precious so I hope you spent yours doing whatever makes you happy. I spent my Sunday on set. Every season Jayu puts together a lookbook and rather than using real models they invite Canadian fashion bloggers to put together their own looks for the shoot.
I took on this project because it forced me to get outside of my comfort zone. It's one thing to stand in an alleyway while Jose take pictures of me but it's a completely different experience being on set with professionals, the pressure was on. I'm so glad I said yes because I met so many awesome and super talented women. Working with other creative people totally inspires me. Can we please note this AMAZING braid crown and this gorgeous makeup? Can I look like this everyday, please?
This shoot allowed me to express both sides of my style. My first look was monochrome minimalist and the second was carefree coachella. All women have multiple sides to their personality and it's always a good idea to let them out. Can’t wait to share the final lookbook with you guys! Xo
