Happy Holidays beauties!

Hope you're all having a good holiday season so far. It seems like there’s so many holiday parties, events and get togethers happening right now that I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. If I said yes to every invitation I would literally not spend more than 5 minutes at home, now until New Year’s Day.  I’m really trying to schedule in some down time because I’m really looking forward to recharging my batteries after a fantastic whirl wind of a year. My work schedule is extremely busy right now and up until the 25th and then January 1 it starts all over again. I have to make sure I don’t spend my 1 week off, running from get together to get together. I’m really looking forward to wearing PJ’s all day, watching Christmas movies, drinking champagne, eating ginger bread cookies and prioritizing time + celebrations with those closest to me.

Another part of the holiday season that can stress me out a little bit is figuring out what to wear and how to do my make-up and hair for all of these festivities. Don't get me wrong,  I LOVE getting dressed up and putting extra time into my look during the holidays. It’s the one time of year I really want to sparkle and look my best. I picked up this dress while in Paris last month with the upcoming holiday season in mind.

I like to experiment with darker eye shadow shades for night time events so I’ve nailed down my holiday makeup look to the stunning YSL Beauty Dazzling lights Holiday Collection shades. Every year YSL Beauty puts together a small collection of their most stunning colors and creates a Collector Palette that could almost pass as a mini clutch. I used the dark + light greys/navy shades to create a natural looking smokey eye, then used the beautiful blush on my cheek, Touche Eclat (shade 2) on my checkbones + and under my eyes and finished off my look with my favorite lipstick, Rouge Pur Couture in shade 70 on my lips. Off to have dinner with my girlfriends at a super cute french place tonight! Have a lovely weekend! xx
