Hi.

I started JODIBLK.com in 2014 as a creative outlet to share my style and the things that inspire me.

I live in Toronto, Canada with my husband Jose. My mantra in life is - Less is more.

I look forward to sharing my life + style with you. xx

I read that during the fourth trimester (first three months of baby's life) newborns really aren't ready to be outside of their mama's wombs. Oliver was 5 weeks early but this applies to full term and late babies too!

This is why new parents are advised to do as much skin to skin as possible, and why Oliver loves to be worn in his carrier.

"Wearing" your baby helps with cognitive development, decreases the risk of post partum depression, soothes baby and gives you a chance to be hands free.

We haven't been able to figure out breastfeeding while in the carrier yet but I've heard its possible.

Do any mamas have tips to share on how to master this art? I’d also love to know your favorite carrier.
