I hope you are well!

I’m not sure if it’s the added time I’ve been spending outdoors lately, or my anticipation for all things summer but I’ve been on a major spring-cleaning / wardrobe cleansing kick these last few weeks. By no means am I a hoarder, but It’s unbelievable how much stuff I’ve accumulated in my 600 square foot space. After cleaning out my closet, I moved on to my makeup collection. This inspired me to share what products I consider essential and are currently in my make up bag.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve been working with YSL Beauty for over 2 years. I have been blessed with the opportunity to test + try all of their amazing products and even visited their factory in France. The products below are my absolute favourites and I use them daily. I am very mindful of the products I promote and only recommend the ones I truly believe you will love as much as I do.

Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow: To me this is more than a primer. It’s skincare and makeup in one. It feels amazing on my skin and holds my makeup and keeps it from melting off my face.

Touche Éclat All-In-One-Glow Foundation: I tried this one first in Paris at the beginning of the year and had the opportunity to sit down with YSL Beauty Global Beauty Director - Tom Pecheux (watch here) to dicuss this new game changer. I like that it’s super lightweight and sheer. I'd describe it as a BB cream + a foundation hybrid, which is exactly what I’m looking for this time of year. You can’t see or feel it.

All Hours Concealer: This is one of my favourite concealers of all time. It does a 10/10 job and I haven't come across anything I like better.

Couture Brow Shaper Mascara: This is my favourite brow product ever because it's so natural looking, easy to use and makes my brows feel like effortless super model brows. This is perfect some anyone who's new to brow make up and just wants to polish their brows.

Touche Éclat: I thought about putting this one at the top of the list because it’s a must for every season. I used a lot of this product for the purpose of the video but for day-to-day just pop on 1 or 2 clicks under your eyes (on top of your concealer) and a few drops to the top of your cheek bones + brow line to highlight + accentuate those features.

Bronzer Les Sahariennes: I like this matte bronzer because it’s the perfect shade for spring. This one doesn't add any weight to your make up and gives a natural glow without shine.

Volume Effect Faux Cils – I love this mascara. It makes my lashes look much longer and doesn’t clump or smudge. It really gives me the false (but natural false) lash effect I'm looking for.

Volupté Liquid Colour Balm – I saw these being made at the factory in Paris. The time, love and quality that goes into creating a YSL Lip Gloss blew my mind. This new formula is pretty amazing and makes your lips look fuller. I’m wearing the shade 4 Shade Me Nude.
